My Tia's Cafe, nestled in the charming location of Cerro, NM, is fast becoming a favorite destination for both locals and travelers. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly staff that make every guest feel right at home. As customer Glen Tanner notes, the service is exceptional and the food is reflective of genuine homemade goodness.
From the colorful plates of authentic Mexican-American cuisine to the standout dishes like the green chile cheeseburger and Navajo taco, each meal offers a delightful burst of flavors. Despite a mention of a less inspiring rice side, reviewers consistently rave about the superb chile and the delicious variety on the menu. The iced tea is freshly brewed, complementing the hearty meals perfectly.

Whether you are passing through or seeking a cozy dining spot, this family restaurant is a must-visit that promises a satisfying meal and a warm welcome.

Happened to pass through, and we were so happy to find this restaurant. The ladies that work here are super kind, and the food is fresh, homemade goodness! Be sure to check out Rio Grande del Norte nearby too!

Four of us had lunch, each ordering a different dish, each of which was delicious (green chile cheeseburger, chicken tostada, chicken quesadilla, and a Navajo taco). The rice side dish was uninspired, but the green and red chile were both superb. The service was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the iced tea was fresh brewed. I recommend it highly. PS - They also sell red chile powder and house made jerky.

It's a very nice local Mexican-American style food restaurant. I had the wet burrito and it was excellent big!
